This event is for University colleagues interested in educational inquiry (EI) or the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL).

Guest speaker: Professor Malcolm Tight, Centre for Higher Education Research and Evaluation, Lancaster University 

Malcolm’s current research concerns are the nature of research into higher education and the post-war history of higher education in the UK. Recent publications explore theory development and application in higher education research, understanding case study research and the development and application of phenomenography in higher education research. 

At this event you will:

  • hear Professor Malcom Tight share his expertise in research methodological approaches in educational inquiry

  • engage in educational inquiry discussions with colleagues
  • find out about future educational inquiry network activities and opportunities for the new academic year (2018 – 2019)
