Education Action Research Journal (EARJ) seminar

In this seminar Professor Lonnie Rowell will speak about 

  • issues of epistemological difference and knowledge production
  • building knowledge democracies in education and other community-based settings
  • resistance to knowledge monopoly as a "practice" and developing practitioner research in this space

Professor Rowell is co-founder and lead organiser in establishing the Action Research Network of the Americas (ARNA), co-editor of the Journal Educational Action research and lead editor of the Palgrave International Handbook of Action Research. Professor Rowell is also co-founder of the Social Publishers Foundation which aims to promote and support action research projects for improved social welfare and educational practices within communities around the world.
