PGCE history students visit University of Connecticut

A group of PGCE historians will be visiting the University of Connecticut over the Easter period. During their time there, they will be going into schools and museum placements. They will be working with Dr Alan Marcus and his students who were studying at the University of Nottingham last semester.

We have a well-developed programme for history students from Connecticut as this was the third year they visited us. Students spent two days in partnership schools, one day in an alternative education setting such as The National Holocaust Centre and Museum, one day having taught sessions at the University and one day of independent time enabling the group to visit a range of European cities.

We wish our PGCE students an enjoyable trip.
