School of Education researcher takes runner-up position in Three Minute Thesis Competition

The University of Nottingham Three Minute Thesis competition final took place on  30 June 2021. Both representatives for the Faculty of Social Sciences were School of Education researchers:

• Jiahong Liao - thesis: British University CFL Teachers' Beliefs in Chinese Character Teaching and Learning
•  Rachel Lehner Mear - thesis: Mothers Supporting Primary Homework

10 students presented their thesis and huge congratulations go to Jiahong who secured the runner-up position.

Dr Jane Medwell, Director of Postgraduate Research for the School of Education said: "This was a really brilliant achievement by both our students - they took a leap in the dark and have polished and honed their presentations to excellence. I hope you all feel as proud and impressed as I do."
