Professor Christopher Day to present at seminar for national education policy advisers

Professor Christopher Day will be presenting at an invitational seminar held by the Confederation of School Trusts and the University of Nottingham's Institute for Policy and Engagement on Thursday 20 January. The seminar is for high level national policy advisers currently drafting the schools white paper.

The focus will be on the results of research projects, with a particular focus on implications for policy. 

Professor Day is a Professor of Education and member of the Centre for Research in Educational Leadership and Management and his research currently is based on: 

• Policymaking in Disruptive Times: The Development and Impact of School Trust-Designed Policies on Teacher and Student Outcomes

• Teacher professionalism in changing contexts: challenges to teachers' thinking and practices as Covid-19 subsides
