Our PGCEi course is a blended, distance learning course. It is compulsory to attend this element under the University's Regulations Governing Attendance and Engagement.
Online 

Supported distance learning (using Moodle, plus email, Skype, video conferencing etc, as appropriate).

Completion of formative tasks and summative assignments.

Fee information can be obtained from our in-country facilitators, Stafford Global by emailing info@staffordglobal.org, who will also co-ordinate payment arrangements.

The PGCEi in UAE is offered via Stafford Global. The course through Stafford Global enables two face-to-face induction sessions in October and March, taught by University of Nottingham tutors, to support students through the duration of the course at times which align with the academic year in the UAE. 

In addition, applicants are provided with experienced consultation for their professional development, supported throughout the application process and once the course has begun, through regular contact.

Personal statement

As part of the application, you are asked to include a personal statement. This should be about your previous experience, hopes from the course, and plans for your future career. 

You should include details about your teaching and learning experiences to date including any current role. Explain what you have learned from those experiences, and how you think the PGCEi will be able to help you develop as a teacher in future. If you have done other work in which you have trained people, or worked in a teacher-style role or as an educator please include details of these too. You should aim to write approximately 500-700 words.
