Teaching and Learning Conference 2021
This page contains historical information about the 2021 session of the University's annual Teaching and Learning Conference. Its content may be of interest to staff and students across all of the UK, China and Malaysia campuses.
What you need to know
In line with the exceptional national and University restrictions in place at the time, 2020's Conference was held entirely online (through Microsoft Teams) on Wednesday 14 April with over 330 virtual attendees.
Conference themes
2021's Conference focused on the following themes:
- Creative pedagogy;
- Assessment;
- Student voice;
- Addressing awarding gaps; and
- Educational partnership.
Contribution formats
Individual contributions on topics or themes were encouraged in the following formats:
- Papers (15 mins for presentation + 5 mins for questions); and
- Posters
