What you need to know

The following groups provide highly valued cross-departmental advice and expertise around teaching and learning. Members are drawn from all schools, faculties and professional services, as well as student representatives to ensure that every view is represented.

All of these groups have an important role in providing evidence for the University's Teaching and Learning Committee (TLC).

Educational Excellence Group

The main group meets once a month to discuss ideas and projects at various levels. They also run and attend workshops to promote good practice.

A smaller group consisting of faculty leads and members of the Educational Excellence Team also meets regularly to highlight and prioritise issues for the wider group.

Education and Student Experience Network

The Education and Student Experience Network (ESEN) is an informal network of Faculty Education and Student Experience (ESE) managers, officers and coordinators, as well as other key colleagues from Professional Services.

The ESEN meets once each term to provide cross-faculty updates and make sure that any ESE-related work is aligned.
