Electronic Portfolio

A collection of files and information put together by an individual (usually) to highlight their abilities and opinions. E-portfolios are usually available for access from the internet.

E-learning (the e stands for electronic) is the use of computers to enhance learning, mostly via the use of programs that aim to engage the learner in a richer, interactive learning experience.

eLeK is the University's e-learning steering group. Standing for E-learning and E-knowledge, this group helps to promote University-Wide e-learning initiatives and projects.

E-Assessment is the use of VLE or other related software to allow exams and other assessed work either to take place or be submitted online. The University has an e-assessment policy here. At present the centrally supported e-assessment system is Question Mark Perception.
