Anne Haworth

Anne Haworth is a Teaching Fellow at the University of Manchester having spent over 30 years as a teacher and manager in schools and colleges. She has experience as a teacher of school pupils aged 11 to 18 and college students of all ages from 16 upwards and as a head of department and college manager. She has been an examiner for GCSE Mathematics and is currently an examiner for International Baccalaureate Mathematics Studies and A Level General Studies.

She was project manager for ITAM, setting Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 Mathematics tests for Wales and has been involved in the setting of Key Skill Application of Number tests. Anne has been an active member of the Association of Teachers of Mathematics for over 30 years and has contributed to several of their publications, most recently Reaching the Core of AS Mathematics. At the university, she is currently involved in training secondary mathematics teachers via PGCE and Teach First routes.
