Assistant Professor in Intelligent Tooling and Specialist Machines, Faculty of Engineering
My main areas of research are on innovative fixturing solutions for various applications as well mechanical design and analysis of technologies used for on-wing repair of jet-engines.
Previous to the start of my work at the university, I was a PhD research assistant on Monterrey Technology Institute and was responsible for preparing research projects and proposals to the Mexican National Council of Science and Technology. I also worked as a research intern at Honeywell Aerospace in Mexico and was responsible for the implementation of a Reverse Engineering Laboratory for visual inspection procedures in freeform components. I obtained my PhD from Monterrey Tech, in collaboration with the University of Nottingham, and my Master's degree from the same institution, in collaboration with the Technical University of Denmark.
