Description

Helen Garnons-Williams is a commissioning editor at Bloomsbury Publishing who has worked closely with writers and their manuscripts for many years. In this School of English event, she will be joined by two of her authors, Jon McGregor and Kerry Young. Together they will discuss the role of the editor and the process of editing, and share something of their different experiences and perspectives.

Kerry Young was recently appointed as an Honorary Associate Professor in the School of English. She has published two novels with Bloomsbury, 'Pao' and 'Gloria', and is currently working on edits for her third.

Jon McGregor is Professor of Creative Writing in the School of English, and editor of The Letters Page. He has published three novels and a collection of stories with Bloomsbury, and his fourth novel is very very nearly ready to hand in to his editor.
