Director of Digital and Marketing, Faculty of Registrars
Nicola joined the University of Nottingham in July 2017 as Director of Digital and Marketing. She has worked in marketing and communications for over 25 years, with around 15 years in the HE sector. Nicola brings experience of public and private HEIs, enjoying faculty-based and central roles at Oxford Brookes and the University of Oxford. Before to coming to Nottingham, Nicola was UK Director of Marketing, Brand and Communication for SAE Institute, a private provider specialising in Creative Media education and two-year degrees.
Nicola studied Drama at Loughborough University and has a CIM Diploma in Marketing and Master's in Business Administration (MBA).
Leading the newly created division of Digital and Marketing I work within External Relations to deliver:
- Student Recruitment Marketing across undergraduate, postgraduate, Home, EU and international segments. Responsible for work of Faculty Marketing teams.
- Corporate Marketing incorporating brand development and management, market research, Research marketing, marketing support for all non-student recruitment activity, marketing for campuses in China and Malaysia.
- The University's content strategy for web, video, photography, copy and social media along with responsibility for internal design services, external design agency management and print management.
- A programme of projects to realise the University's Digital Transformation ambitions, specifically our Digital Engagement strategy comprising technical development of the website, digital engagement including integration of systems, system support and development, technology innovation, governance and processes.
