The main focus of this area is to support the design and delivery of activities that lead to impact from excellent research.
It supports and embeds 'pathways to impact' and the development of success stories that demonstrate the impact of the University of Nottingham’s research on the economy, society, environment and culture.
Research outcomes reporting
Key sponsors collect outcomes data from funded research on an ongoing basis, including a wide range of information on publications, staff career development, public engagement, conferences/workshops/symposia, intellectual property, new models/prototypes/tools, impact and so on.
Grant holders are required to enter outcomes directly onto the system designated by the funder.
Reporting to Research Councils, NIHR, many medical research charities and other funders is now through the Researchfish system. Any outcomes reported through the Research Outcomes System (ROS), used previously by AHRC, BBSRC, EPSRC, ESRC, NERC and NC3Rs, have been migrated to Researchfish.
