Biographical details

She was shot in Zapoteca, Colombia, in 1819 for her part in the independence struggles. (Hincapie Borda, 155)

On 19 August 1818, Governor Forminaya sentenced her to death. She was a veteran of several combats who fell in Zapatoca. (P. Forero, 45)
