The wife of Francisco Reyes, she was among a group of up to 600 women who lined the streets of Bogotá as the Viceroy's wife, Francisca Villanova, was transferred from a convent to the Cárcel del Divorcio on 13 August 1810. It was said to be a miracle that Villanova arrived alive. (Monsalve, 93)
