Biography:
From Bogotá, she was the daughter of Josefa Díaz de Giradot and sister of Mercedes, Bárbara and Joaquina. In August 1816 she and her family were exiled to Fontibón by Morillo. They were probably held in the Cárcel Chiquito before being exiled. (Monsalve, 156, 159)

Her family was great friends with the Almeydas. (Díaz y Díaz, 34)
