Biography:
She produced pamphlets and revolutionary propaganda. Her house in calle Peña Horadada, Lima (today Jirón Junín, near Iglesia del Carmen, Barrios Altos) was used as a centre for secret meetings for men and women who debated independence matters. She and her circle of friends provided money for the independence cause. She kept gold bars and food in the basement of the house that were used by the patriots. (Balta, 23-24)
