Fees and Funding
Postgraduate research students are responsible for arranging their own funding to cover fees and living expenses.
There are many different ways you might be able to fund your research studies including:
- research councils
- local authorities
- career development loans
- trusts and charities
- school or faculty studentships and bursaries
The university postgraduate funding website is an excellent place to start looking for help with the cost of your postgraduate studies, providing information on scholarships and awards you may be eligible for. The key is to apply early for your course, giving yourself the maximum amount of time to track down funding.
