A new visitor policy has been launched to provide guidance and support on the hosting of all kinds of visitors to the university.
The policy aims to provide clear guidance to ensure the safety and well-being of all visitors to the university, in addition to safeguarding the university and protecting its staff and student community by ensuring internal and government regulatory compliance.
The policy covers domestic and international visitors from a number of categories: academic, sponsored researcher, postgraduate student, traineeship/internship and virtual visitors.
The policy is hosted on Sharepoint along with guidance and standard operating procedures for hosting visits from initial contact through to follow up.
This includes a visit request form template which ensures key details required for insurance are captured, and signposting of relevant support and resources.
