Are you interested in becoming a member of an Executive Board committee?
The University would like decision-making and leadership to be more distributed and to benefit from a greater variety of the expertise, ideas and views from across our community. To make progress in this aspiration, the University is inviting staff members to nominate themselves to join an Executive Board committee.
Executive Board committees will be reconstituted in the new academic year to include members of staff at different career stages as well as students, representing diversity in all its forms - from gender and ethnicity to roles, experience and expertise.
If you would like to know more about this opportunity, please have a look through the role description for Nominated Committee Members. This sets out the expectations and responsibilities of committee members and also the desired experience and attributes that the University is looking for in its new committee members. Full information about the selection process can be found below along with the Executive Board committee structure and the purpose of each committee.
If you would like to be considered to join an Executive Board committee, please complete the nomination form including a short statement setting out your interest in the role and the skills and experience that you would bring to a committee.
Initial selection for Nominated Committee Members will commence in September, and a further nomination and selection round will take place during the autumn term. Full training will be provided for successful candidates across October and November.
The closing date for completion of nomination forms is 5th September.
