I am one of the Graduate Centre Coordinators at the Engineering and Science Graduate Centre (ESGC) for the 2017/2018 academic year. I am a final year PhD student at the Faculty of Engineering. My research is focused on engineering microorganisms for bioproduction of valuable platform compounds from renewable feedstocks.
It has been an awesome, formative, educating and enlightening experience here at the University of Nottingham, and the Graduate Centres in particular ESGC played an integral role during the early days of my study. It has always been for me a hub for socializing, relaxing, networking and sometimes studying.
I am excited to be part of the team coordinating the centres in order to give you a wholesome experience here at Nottingham. Abdelaziz and I will be working on a job share basis at least an hour per day. Please do come around and make yourself comfortable, we look forward to meeting you and receiving feedback and ideas from you or assist you in any way we can. Also, follow us on Facebook and make sure you don’t miss out on the events, alternatively keep in touch via our email (firstname.lastname@example.org).Remember, we are here for you!
