School of Veterinary Medicine and Science

Vet School

A broad range of research-based and transferable skills that will assist your professional and career development, whether you plan to pursue a career inside or outside of academia, can be developed by attending the courses provided within the Graduate School's Researcher Development Programme or the M&HS Faculty-specific Training Programme. These courses are delivered by academics and researchers from within the Faculty as well as researcher development professionals from the Graduate School, Professional Development and Information Services.
Students in the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science should discuss their training and development needs with their supervisory team and identify relevant training courses to attend (these may be from the Faculty Training Programme, The Graduate School's Researcher Development programme or any other relevant training course).

To attend a training course you will need to self-enrol using the on-line registration system; 'central short courses' or 'csc'. To access descriptions of each of the courses and links to the sessions' on-line registration pages click on the relevant training programme button below.

Graduate School and Faculty Training Programme courses run each academic year between November and the following July. Courses will be open for booking on 11th October 2016.

All the information needed on how to book your training courses and course descriptions will be available on these webpages.
