The winners of the latest round of Graduate School Travel prizes have been announced. These prestigious prizes support research students to attend national or international conferences to present research, or to make a short visit to another institute to use or consult essential resources.
Over the past ten years the Graduate School has awarded over half a million pounds in prizes, enabling researchers to travel to over 85 countries.
Summer 2017 award round winners*:

Camille Hoteit – Faculty of Engineering – Conference in Manchester, UK
Jessica Cegielski – Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences – Conference in Rome, Italy
Josh Whale – Faculty of Science – Materials Research Society Fall meeting – Conference in Boston, USA
Saeed Ahmad – Faculty of Science –Conference in Pisa, Italy
Bartosz Regula – Faculty of Science - Workshop in Nanyang, Singapore

The deadline for the next travel prize award round is 7 December 2017, for travel between 22 January to 7 May 2018.
