Description

Title: Transforming End of Life Care at University College London Hospitals (UCLH)

Speaker: Dr Julie Carter, Leadership Fellow in End of Life Care, University College London Hospitals

Synopsis: The Transforming End of Life Care Team at UCLH was established in 2013 to ensure that all patients within the trust receive safe, individualised, top-quality end  of life care. Originally set up with charitable funding, the initial programme has significantly evolved and has recently been granted sustained funding to become 'business as usual'. This presentation will describe some of the training initiatives, tools and processes implemented by the team, and discuss the challenges of trying to change culture and measure improvement in end of life care.

The session begins at 12.30pm with a light lunch, and the seminar begins at 1pm.

Attendance is free and all are welcome.
