Research Assistant on The Narrative experiences Online (Neon) Study, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences
Yasmin Ali is a Research Assistant working on the NEON Clinical Trial, particularly assisting in conducting and producing research outputs from the process evaluation of the Trial. Yasmin's research background has been in the fields of Health Psychology, and Social Psychology. Her passion for conducting research related to Mental Health research is evident in her graduate studies, with her PhD investigating the ways in which hearing loss can impact a person's mental wellbeing and the different ways people cope with their condition. Many of the research projects Yasmin has worked on have required qualitative expertise, therefore, she has developed a strong set of qualitative skills which she is currently implementing in her research assistant role to achieve the aims of the NEON Trial's process evaluation.
