Help
This e-learning package is quite simple to use - treat it as a mini-website. Below are a few tips on its use which might help you:
Navigation
You can navigate through this package in three ways:
- Linear: use the arrows under the main navigation bar to go to the previous or next page in sequence
- Random: use the main navigation bar to go to any section of the package
Access keys
There are 'keyboard shortcuts', also known as 'access keys', which you can use instead of a mouse to navigate:
- p: previous page in sequence
- n: next page in sequence
- h: home
- s: next steps
- i: practical issues
- o: other approaches
- t: top tips
- r: resources
To use these keys in the following common browsers, hold down the following keys then press the access key:
- Internet Explorer: Alt + access key + Enter
- Firefox: Alt-Shift (Windows), Ctrl (on a Mac)
- Chrome: Alt (Windows), Ctrl + Opt (on a Mac)
- Safari: Alt (Windows), Ctrl (Mac)
For more information on access keys, and how they're implemented in different browsers, see the Wikipedia page on access keys.
Narration
Most pages in the package have a voiced narration, which you can listen to by clicking the play button on the audio player between the previous and next arrows. If you would like the narration to play as soon as you enter a page, to save you clicking on the button, then tick the Autoplay check box.
