HR Operations

The HR Operations Team, led by Peter McCracken (tel: 0115 846 7830), is responsible for the delivery of strategic and operational HR services and support to the University in the following areas:

HR Business Partnering

Supporting managers on strategic HR-related matters and organisational objectives such as:
performance management; organisational design and development; change management; and strategic resourcing.

Guides and support documents providing the policies, procedures and tools that will enable you to get the best out of every aspect of your employment at The University of Nottingham, or to help you manage your team.


HR Employment Relations

Providing advice and support on HR policies and procedures, including short and long-term sickness absence, disciplinary procedures, grievance procedures and dignity procedures. 


HR Employment Shared Services

HR Employment Shared Services are your first port of call for general HR enquiries including: Recruitment, HR policy and processes and HR administration.
