It is unlawful to disciminate against someone on grounds of their: race (for example, whether they are African or Caucasian), their colour (for example, whether they are black or white), nationality (for example, whether someone is Polish or Indian), their national origin (for example, whether someone is Scottish or English) or their ethnic origin (for example, whether someone is a Gypsy Traveller).
