Dr Daria Davitti leads the Forced Migration Unit and has been Assistant Professor in the School of Law since 2016.

Daria's research focuses on the implementation of international law in complex settings, and in the specific context of forced migration she examines the legality of the policies of the European Agenda on Migration. She is also interested in the privatisation of migration and in the role of private, military and security companies in the European refugee 'crisis'.
