Current Research

My research interests lie within philosophy of law. Specifically, I am currently researching the formal and informal collateral consequences of criminal conviction, with particular focus on whether these constitute punishment and could form the basis of an argument for subjectivity of punishment, with particular research emphasis on individuals from poorer socio-economic backgrounds.

Past Research

I have previously undertaken research on topics around poverty as a criminal defence and the state's right to punish.
