We are very pleased to share that two students in our Department were recognised for their research and teaching contributions in the Tri-Campus awards this year.
Christopher Booth, who is researching a new approach to the archaeology of medicine and pharmacy in the early modern period, received the Andrew Hendry Postgraduate Award.
Gary Fisher was highly commended on the Postgraduate Teaching Awards category. These awards recognise and celebrate examples of innovative teaching and support of learning. He is researching the depiction of the ancient world in early American theatre (1730 - 1870) through a project co-supervised by the Departments of Classics and American & Canadian Studies, which is funded by the AHRC.
