Dr Jon Hoover, of the Department of Theology and Religious studies, spoke to Verity Cowley on BBC Radio Nottingham this weekend on the subject of Dr Musharraf Hussain's new translation of the Qu'ran. Dr Hoover claimed the new English translation of Qur'an makes the text 'accessible for the younger generation'.
