Biography

30 years experience in research and development in the biomedical device industry, initially for Smith & Nephew plc and then for two Cambridge-based engineering consultancies, TTP and Sagentia.

Then worked for The Faraday Institute for Science and Religion as their External Affairs Director for 2 years before deciding to take early retirement in order to study academic theology.

General area of interest: Science-engaged constructive systematic theology

Specific area of interest: Updating the cosmology of Maximus the Confessor in the light of Cappadocian immanent universals and evolutionary biology, and exploring the implications of such a construction for providence, divine action, creaturely individuality, and deep incarnation.
