The Midlands Centre for Data-driven Metrology (MCDDM) is hosted by the University of Nottingham. The Centre engages academics from Nottingham (Manufacturing Metrology Team – MMT), Loughborough and Coventry with a broad range of industrial partners to deliver on the underpinning research, services and training agenda, to enable the adoption of data-driven metrology in advanced manufacturing industries.

We seek a Research and Engagement Associate to deliver the full pipeline of short research projects to new and existing industry collaborators. The R&E Associate will be responsible for utilising the available resources in the team and the wider University to engage small and medium enterprises in metrology research and deliver short projects through the MCDDM remit. The post holder will also support the General Manager and Principal Investigator in the organisation and promotion of events and outreach to disseminate work done.

Applicants should be able to show a working knowledge of metrology as a field and be willing to engage in learning to specialise this interest.
