Salary
£19209 to £22254 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above post to work in the Faculty of Engineering across the various UK campuses (mainly Jubilee Campus and University Park). 

The successful candidate will join a team providing professional administrative support to members of academic and research staff across the Faculty of Engineering.

Duties will involve carrying out a range of research related administration activities, including arranging meetings and events, taking minutes, dealing with emails, telephone enquiries and general office-based tasks. 

Candidates should have experience in a relevant role, they should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work on their own initiative. 

Excellent IT skills are essential (MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook), experience of other web-based software would also be an advantage. 

There are 2 full-time (36.25 hours), permanent posts available. Arrangements for job share would be considered.

This role will not attract sufficient points to obtain a sponsored Skilled Worker visa under the UK Visas & Immigration points based immigration system, however applications are welcome from candidates who don't currently have the right to work in the UK, but who would be eligible to obtain a valid visa via another route.
