Salary
£19209 to £22254 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

We are seeking an enthusiastic team worker to join the Divisional Support Team within the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, based at Sutton Bonington.

The School Administrator will be a key member of the Veterinary School's administration team. The post will support delivery of key outputs at Faculty and School Level. This will include providing administrative support, preparation/management of schedules and documents, and managing discreet work packages to drive outcomes experience. This will include receiving and responding to internal and external queries in person, by email and telephone; providing general administrative support to academic divisions and the School executive members, specifically the Head of Operations.

The post will require flexibility, dynamism, energy and initiative, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and good communication skills. The candidate will be required to be thorough and meticulous in their approach to tasks in order to deliver a high-quality professional service and have excellent IT skills, including the range of Microsoft applications.

This role is available on a fixed term contract until 24/10/2024. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours).Job share arrangements may be considered.

This role will not attract sufficient points to obtain a sponsored Skilled Worker visa under the UK Visas & Immigration points based immigration system, however applications are welcome from candidates who don't currently have the right to work in the UK, but who would be eligible to obtain a valid visa via another route.
