Salary
£29799 to £38833 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The project will investigate the developing ability tointerpret natural and spontaneous signals in other people’s behaviour to infertheir inner states. How does this ability develop across the lifespan and howdoes a neurodevelopmental disorder, such as autism, impact on development?Specifically, how does the quality of signal in behaviour vary from one personto another? Are some people effectively more difficult to interpret thanothers, particularly if they have autism?

Although this full-time post is for a fixed term of 6months, the PI will assist the role holder extensively to secure externalfunding (e.g. an ESRC New Investigator Award) to try to extend the appointmentfor a number of years.

Applicants should have a degree and PhD in Psychology,should be experienced in experimental programming, video editing and should beproficient in using SPSS. The role will involve collecting data from childparticipants as well as participants with special needs.
