As a result of team expansion, applications are invited for two Assistant Professor posts within the Division of Pharmacy Practice and Policy. Successful applicants will be joining a dynamic and discipline leading School of Pharmacy. It is a particularly exciting time to be joining the School as we are currently re-designing our innovative Master of Pharmacy Programme for roll-out in September 2022.
The role holders will provide a consistently excellent standard of teaching and support for student learning that is underpinned by scholarship related to the discipline. These posts will contribute to teaching across a range of modules or within a subject area, keeping abreast of the subject matter and modern teaching methods and provide academic and pastoral support to students.
Applicants must be a registered health professional (any discipline) and/or hold a PhD in a relevant subject and have a good honours degree. Applicants must have the ability to design and deliver high quality and up-to-date course materials and be able to use a range of delivery techniques and technologies to inspire and engage students.
We pride ourselves on the collegial and supportive culture created by our staff. We are dedicated to creating an environment which enables both our staff to thrive and achieve their potential. Our commitment to Equality and Diversity has been recognised in the awarding of an Athena SWAN Silver Award.
Both posts are permanent and full time, 36.25h per week; applications for job share may be considered. Applications from those who wish to retain a part-time clinical role will be considered, but candidates would be responsible for arranging their own practice-based appointment.
Informal enquiries may be addressed to Dr Helen Boardman, email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that applications sent directly to this email address will not be accepted.
