£19209 to £22254 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The University’s student administration is delivered through three teams working in our Service Centres and dedicated spaces across our UK campuses. We are now seeking to expand our teams and have a number of Administrator opportunities available. 

These opportunities are within our teams directly involved in the delivery of student administration, covering areas across the student journey, including administration and support of curriculum, module enrolment, timetabling, assessment and maintenance of student records throughout their time with us. You will work in a role in one of the following teams:   

Programme Administration  

Area of work involving maintenance of student records, involvement in supporting administration of curriculum, module enrolment, timetabling and liaison with Schools.  


Area of work involving maintenance of student assessments, results and progression records, management of Exam Boards, liaison with Schools and Graduation  

Postgraduate Research (PGR) 

Support of the administration, throughout the student journey, for our Post Graduate Research students.

Our teams work in an agile way, across our Registry & Academic Affairs hub offices on University Park, Jubilee, Medical School and Sutton Bonington campuses.  Team members could be asked to work from any of these locations as well as remotely working from home for part of the week.

In this crucial full time role, you will provide high quality administrative support to students and academics across the University, as well as have the opportunity to provide face to face student support in one of our service centres to ensure the successful delivery of a number of services associated with the student journey.   

As part of a busy, dynamic team, you will need to be highly enthusiastic, self-motivated and have a strong customer service background. Equally important, is the need to have an excellent eye for detail and experience of delivering a high-quality administrative service. With proven IT skills, excellent planning and organisation, communication and interpersonal skills you must be committed to collaborative team working and have the ability to work independently.

 Work patterns may fall between the hours of 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday. These roles are permanent, job share arrangements may be considered.
