ÖSD examinations

The ÖSD is a state-approved examination and assessment system for German as a Foreign Language, which correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. These exams:

• provide an extra qualification to prove your language skills
• enhance your CV
• give you access to grants from the DAAD (German academic exchange service) and the OEAD (Austrian exchange service)
• offer you the opportunity to study at German-speaking universities.

The examinations

The Language Centre offers you opportunity to take these exams at the University of Nottingham. The exam consists of four parts:

• writing
• listening
• reading 
• speaking

There are currently no dates for future ÖSDE exams at the University of Nottingham.

Cost and registration

The price for the exam, includes:

• A1: £60
• A2: £60
• B1: £85 (held in cooperation with the Goethe exam)
• B2: £90
