Research Areas

The School of Law has six research centres and groups, which broadly focus on conflict, security, and terrorism; commercial law, criminal law and criminal justice; human rights; and public procurement.

As well as the School of Law's research centres and groups, our academics also focus on a number of research areas, including: environmental law; family and child law; intellectual property law; legal theory; maritime law; mental health and mental capacity law; private international law; public law; public international law; and, socio-legal history.
