World Digital Preservation Day takes place every year on the first Thursday of November and aims to create greater awareness of digital preservation.
This year's theme, celebrated on 4 November 2021, was "Breaking Down Barriers" and provided an opportunity to demonstrate how digital preservation supports digital connections, unlocks potential and creates lasting value.
To mark the occasion, Manuscripts and Special Collections' Digital Preservation Officer Laura Peaurt reflected on our digital preservation journey at the University of Nottingham.
