UKRI Open Access policy change - Event

 

Are you a researcher recieving funding from UKRI? 

Join our Research Support team for a webinar dedicated to exploring the new UKRI Open Access policy. If you’re a post-graduate research student or research staff receiving funding from UKRI (the seven Research Councils, Innovate UK and Research England) this talk could help understanding how the changes will affect you.

The presentation will explore:  

  • The scope of the new UKRI open access policy 
  • What you need to do according to the venue of publication 
  • Considerations and requirements, including licensing mandates, data access statements and ORCID iD 
  • The transformative/transitional agreements (also called 'read and publish' agreements) in which the University is participating and how these can be used as a route to complying with UKRI policy 
  • How UoN Libraries can support you when publishing
