Study well with the SU and Libraries

The Students’ Union and Libraries are here to support you throughout the examination period with resources, study top tips, extended opening hours, games zones, goodie bags and more.

  • Free SU wellbeing packs will be available in libraries during exams. We’ll be sharing details of when and where you can find these on Libraries’ social media soon.
  • From 22 May, you’ll find a whiteboard and pens in all libraries to share a positive message of encouragement for your fellow students.
  • Study at a time that works for you with our three 24/7 libraries - Djanogly LRC, George Green and James Cameron-Gifford. Need to access resources from another library? We can help.
  • Find study space – did you know you can book study space up to seven days in advance online?
  • Need support with revision, time management or any other study skills? Our Learning Development team provide online resources, webinars and 1:1 sessions to help you meet your study goals.
  • Bring Your Own Exam sessions – join our Learning Development team to try a practice paper in exam conditions. Browse events
  • Take a break from your studies. Our popular Libraries Refuel sessions are back. Pop by our weekly drop-in across six libraries for a free hot drink and study snack or alternatively visit the Library Games Zone table at any time for a game with a friend or to help out with the shared jigsaw puzzle.

We know that assessment time can be a stressful time, please know that you are not alone. If you are struggling or need to talk to someone, please reach out. You can find support at nottingham.ac.uk/go/support-wellbeing

If you have any questions about using our libraries or finding resources, ask any member of Library staff or contact us by phone, email, live chat or @UoNLibraries on Instagram.
