Study together, apart

Libraries are trialling bookable socially distanced group study space in selected locations outside libraries.

 

Group study essentials

  • Suitable for groups who require essential access to study space to support their studies. These spaces are for socially distanced study.
  • Study space must be booked online. Students can book up to three hours every day.
  • Groups must follow the Covid-19 safety measures, including wearing face coverings (unless exempt) and maintaining a minimum of one-metre distance. This applies even if you are in the same household or bubble.
  • Groups failing to follow the mandatory Covid-19 safety measures will be asked to leave, and the lead booker will be unable to book study space for seven days. Non-compliance will be considered a breach of the Code of Discipline for Students.
 

 

 

About group study space

  • Spaces are currently available in the Trent Building (University Park), Dearing Building and Xu Yafen Building (Jubilee Campus).
  • Group spaces must be booked online using Click and Study
  • Individuals can book one x three hour group study space per day.
  • Face coverings must be worn (unless exempt).
  • We ask that those who are exempt, display a lanyard or exemption card (where possible)
  • All students must maintain a minimum of one metre distance from others. This applies even if you are in the same household or bubble.
  • No food is allowed. Drinks can be consumed but please replace your face covering immediately.

How do I book?

  1. Visit Click and Study
    Bookings will be live from midday on Monday 8 March
  2. Select Group study from the location list. You can also specify a capacity.
  3. Select your preferred study space and start time from the table.
  4. Use the drop-down box below the table to select the finish time (up to three hours) or click on the bin icon to start again.
  5. Click Submit Times at the bottom of the page.
  6. You will be asked to log in with your University username and password.
  7. Follow the instructions, read the terms and conditions and click to confirm your booking.
  8. You will receive a confirmation email. Please bring this with you to the study space.

If you haven't received your email, please check your Clutter/Junk/Other folder. If your email still hasn't arrived, please email library-helpline@nottingham.ac.uk
