Abstract:
In this talk, I will provide an overview of several studies where computational analysis of routine clinical recordings has led to novel set of candidate biomarkers for seizures and epilepsy. By using a dynamic network model approach, I will show how we can systematically explore how changes to network structure or model parameters influence the seizure-likelihood in model simulations. Finally, I will discuss how we are currently aiming to assess the potential added value and robustness of these candidate markers in clinical studies.
