Dr. Jacqueline Mhizha-Murira is a postdoctoral Research Fellow within the School of Medicine.

Expertise Summary

Jacqueline has a background in Psychology, with extensive experience in mixed-methods research including systematic reviews, qualitative research methods and randomised controlled trials, and expertise in neuropsychological rehabilitation in multiple sclerosis.

Current Research

Jacqueline is currently working on an MS Society-funded project, an RCT to evaluate the feasibility of conducting a definitive study to investigate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of an emotional support intervention around the point of MS diagnosis.

She is also involved in the NIHR-funded NEuRoMS programme (www.neuroms.org) that aims to develop a cognitive screening and management pathway for people with MS.
