Biography
Rachel Sabin-Farrell Bsc(Hons) MPhil DClinPsy CPsychol is a Senior Academic Tutor for the Trent Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, which is organised by the Institute of Work, Health & Organisations in collaboration with the University of Lincoln's Department of Psychology and three local NHS Trusts. The Course trains graduate psychologists to become skilled Chartered Clinical Psychologists who are able to work effectively within the NHS and other public services. Rachel is seconded from Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, where she works two days a week as a Clinical Psychologist and Lead Psychologist in Primary Care. She is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist. Clinically she works with individuals with mental health problems in a primary care clinical psychology service, and has a special interest in trauma. Her research interests include: vicarious traumatisation, post-traumatic stress disorder/trauma, survivors of sexual abuse and psychological interventions in primary care.
