Division of Rheumatology, Orthopaedics and Dermatology

We are a vibrant division comprising three integrated departments:

Academic Rheumatology (City Hospital)
Orthopaedics Trauma and Sports Medicine (Queen’s Medical Centre)
and the Centre for Evidence Based Dermatology (King’s Meadow campus).

Our focus is on outstanding medical education, research and patient care in the areas of joint, bone and skin disease.

We undertake both primary research and secondary research evidence synthesis. Two of Versus Arthritis' Centres of Excellence are based in the division. We are also actively engaged in undergraduate and post-graduate education and undertake a wide range of research.

We work closely with other departments in the University and University Hospitals NHS Trust. We also work closely with patients and members of the public.
